Pastoral Council The main advisory body to the Pastor, together with the Finance Council. Members are appointed by the Pastor. Finance Council The Parish Finance Council of the Catholic Community of St. Patrick assists the Pastor in the administration of Parish goods. It is consultative in nature and function. Stewardship Committee This group is committed to the spiritual growth of our parishioners by encouraging them as followers of Jesus Christ to share their God given gifts of Time, Talent, and Treasure. Liturgical Ministries

Altar Servers Boys and girls fourth grade to adult can assist Priests (during daily 8:30 AM and Sunday Masses). Special training classes are required.

Music Ministries St. Patrick has two adult choirs - a contemporary choir at the Sunday 9:00 AM Family Mass and a traditional choir at the Sunday 11:00 AM Mass. There is also a choir for the children of St. Patrick. Marcia Seheult (813) 839-5337 Ext. 137

Special Ministers of the Eucharist Men and women receive special training and are commissioned by the Pastor to serve in the Parish. They assist the priest at the Liturgy by distributing the Eucharist. They also distribute the Eucharist to the parish sick on Sunday. Joe and Jennifer Buzzett (813) 831-8931
Special Ministers of The Eucharist for the Homebound Parish shut-ins are brought Holy Communion each Friday after Mass. They are united to the Parish family by these visits. Call the Parish office and notify them of someone who is homebound for approval. Rosemary Bugna (813) 831-0306

Bible Studies Bible Studies offer adults the opportunity to read and reflect on scripture and Catholic Tradition in an effort to apply knowledge and understanding to their faith journey.
Disciples in Mission Disciples in Mission is A PROCESS sponsored by the diocese for their parishes. Over the course of three years that it runs in the parish, it integrates prayer, the Sunday liturgies, faith-sharing groups for adults and teens, catechesis, family activities, planning, and follow-up activities into a coherent, parish-wide experience of evangelization. Re-Membering Church These parishioners assist those Catholics who have not been fully active or are in need of updating in the Catholic Life to become more active in our Catholic Community. Br. Richard Gates (813) 839-5337
School of Faith The School of Faith is a ministry that serves parish children by teaching and witnessing to our Catholic faith. Elementary grades (Pre-K 3 year olds through 8th grade) meet on Sunday mornings from 10:15 - 11:30 AM after the 9:00 AM Mass. Volunteer catechists and classroom aides are needed to help children ages 3 to young teens hear and respond to God's call of love. Training and continuing education is provided to our volunteers.

Youth Ministries The Youth Group is a Eucharistic based high school ministry that ministers to the (social, emotional, and spiritual) whole person. Open to all High School teens (Grades 9-12) of all faiths. 100% Catholic.The Middle School Youth Group is an awakening ministry that ministers to the whole (social, emotional, and spiritual) person. Social Ministries

Boy Scouts The Boy Scouts of America is an organization that allows boys from the ages of 11 but not yet 18 to join in the adventure and leadership of scouting. Boy scouting allows boys to learn several valuable skills and character traits. The scout law (A scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, and cheerful) best describes what scouting is and what our scouts at St. Patrick strive to represent. Council of Catholic Women/Circle One These women promote community among parish women and collaborate with the Pastor on special projects. They host Parish celebrations and have fundraisers. The money raised is used for church needs (refurbish the tabernacle, new kneelers in front of the statues, etc.). They meet the first Wednesday of each month at 1:30 PM in the social hall (except July and August). Cub Scouts Cub Scout Pack 245 is an accredited group within the Boy Scouts of America sponsored by St. Patrick Church. The Pack has received many quality unit awards and is active in council-wide and parish-wide activities. Boys in grades 1-5 are eligible to join this family oriented organization. Girl Scouts
Knights of Columbus The Knights of Columbus are Catholic gentlemen committed to the exemplification of charity, unity, fraternity, patriotism, and defense of the priesthood. The Order is consecrated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Order is unequivocal in its loyalty to the Pope, the Vicar of Christ on earth. It is firmly committed to the protection of human life, from conception to natural death, and to the preservation and defense of the family. Outreach Ministries

Arimatheans Since many of our elderly members have little or no family members present, this dedicated group of people makes sure someone is in attendance at wakes and funerals besides the Priest. They serve as lectors, ushers, pallbearers, servers of the altar and help funeral directors. Their telephone committee calls their list of parishioners to notify them of parishioners funerals. Guardian Angels Nursery Adults and teens are needed to care for infants and small children during our 9:00 AM Sunday Mass, as well as for certain evening meetings and adult activities.
Respect Life There is no other issue more important than the Gift of Life; from conception through birth, all through the life process until death.
