Having just celebrated the Solemnity of Christmas, the commemoration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, we have, as a Church, once again been reflecting on these extraordinary accounts of the events surrounding the birth of our Lord and Savior. Only Matthew and Luke present us with these stories, yet if we compare them, we find that they are very different. These presentations will allow us to ponder how both Matthew and Luke presented and used these accounts, how they are alike and how they are different.
